As you can see my pixelmator skills not up to their tip top standard but its the best I could do! Based on the old Apple logo!

Not as perfect as I wanted it but if I had edited it anymore it would have got smaller and smaller as I tried to correct the edges!

EDIT: Spent a little more time on it and got a better picture!

Of the avatars I've seen so far, I think this one is my favorite. It's simple, elegant, and yet conveys both MR and Apple in a positive way.

Pretty darn cool.

I like the way it honors those who have been using Macs since they were introduced. I miss the old Apple logo at times.

Yeh I kind of went on that theory aswell...

Macrumors is now 8 years old, (started in 2000) and this was a bit after the rainbow logo was discontinued (back in 1998) so I thought the Macrumors logo needed a de-update (if thats possible!) back in time so I thought this ledgendary logo would be appropriate!
