I had 10.4.11 installed. Everything was OK for some time. Then it started asking me to log in whenever I started up the mac. It had never done that before. Sometimes it let me log in. Other times not. It seemed to be regularly changing the password & user name. BUT I was not changing anything.
I installed Leopard thinking that might cure the problem. But Leopard made it worse. I cannot log in at all now.
Anyone know what might be happening.
How can I get rid of the passwords.
I have done all the usual things like restarting from the install disk and then changing the password. Plus on the infrequent times it didi let me log in going to the Accounts section of System Preferences.
Plus when I go to System Preferences it will not let me change the startup disk.
