Synch issues

Hi,

I dont see my new Touch under DEVICES unless I am hooked up to the internet. If I do connect to the net, it synchs great.

Anyone has any clue as so why this would be so? I have made sure that the box next to "Disable automatic synching..." is unchecked under Edit -> Preferences -> Synching (always have). I have looked everywhere and called Apple (who asked me to make sure I am on 1.1.3 which I am) and havent been able to root cause.

Any help - much appreciated.

That's weird. I vaguely recall seeing a "go offline" and an option to download an older version of iTunes, when I downloaded the latest. I was wondering what that meant, and I can't seem to find it again.

Wonder if this has something to do with rentals?
