Stream a DVD in Real Time?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to find out if it's possible to stream a (physical) DVD in real time to a Apple TV. Obviously the ATV will not play DVD files in their raw format, so it would require a H264 or similar conversion in real time.

Is there any way of doing this?
