Help with January Software update

i purchased the programs, but for some reason when ever i go to add a website to the home screen a message pops up saying "Could not add this page to the Home screen because an error occurred." this didn't pop up b4 when it was jailbroken (it was restored and is no longer jailbroken at all) also the "Mail" application quits when i open it, something that didn't happen when it was jailbroken...can ANYONE help me please! this is very frustrating, I've had nothing but bad luck with my ipod since this damn january update came out

I would reset your iPod touch to factory defaults.

If that doesn't work, try manually downloading and installing the 1.1.3 restoration firmware (via putting the iPod into restoration mode and downgrading from there)..

okay well i did the restore option in itunes and that didnt work...
