I moved my desk configuration around to fit my new ACD and it seems that after dark even with the lights in the room on my MBP keyboard backlight is on.. I dont need it since I type on a wireless keyboard.... is there an apple script that i cant trigger with quicksilver or a small menu bar icon that i can use to toggle the keyboard light sensor... seems like a pain to have to always go into the system preferences when i take my laptop away from the desk and i dont want to burn out the back light for when i really do need it.. thanks.. i tried search but i was struggling for good search terms... thanks

I have the opposite problem - my keyboard backlight won't come on when I want it to! I wish there was just a fully manual option for it.
