What's the best wireless keyboard that is compatible with a Mac. I'm getting an iMac shortly, and I am looking for a good wireless keyboard. All that I find are only Windows compatible.

I can't get the one that comes with the Mac from Apple as I heavily use the number pad and I will need this.

Thanks!
Cappy

Nearly any USB based or Bluetooth Wireless keyboard is Mac Compatible, regardless of whether it says it or not.

Best, the White Apple Wireless Keyboard, not the new Wireless Keyboard.

I have the Logitech S530 combo and I like it a lot. The only downside is that it is NOT bluetooth so I have to have a dongle plugged in. Besides that i like it and it works great. The Logitech drivers can be a pain and mess up some things (the one that comes to mind is Growl) but besides that I like the keyboard and mouse

I use this keyboard with my iMac and it works marvelously, plus you can pick them up for quite a reasonable amount on eBay ;)

Although the aluminum one looks gorgeous, I still like my white one. It has the keypad and potato chip crumb collector (I also have an air spray within arm's reach for the latter). :o

I want to love the new aluminum wireless keyboard, but I prefer to have the number pad. And the arrow keys are smaller on the al one as well. Maybe not a big deal, but that irks me too. So I'm sticking with my white one.

I have the bluetooth apple wireless keyboard, I really like it because it doesn't take up a huge amount of space like a normal keyboard. However if you don't like the macbook keyboard I think you will hate the wireless one, as it has the same design (they did move some of the functions vs my macbook keyboard.)

As far as losing connections and such, I only have used it for a week, and it has been perfect so far.

I have owned the both the previous generation Apple Bluetooth keyboard and the current aluminum , and I think the aluminum is a wonderful product to type on.. Simply a pleasure!

If you enter a ot of numerical data, this is not they keyboard for you though due to the lack of a dedicated numeric keypad.

love the new BT wireless keyboard. so thin and light and love those chic-let keys. too bad they don't offer one with num pad. The last gen model isn't bad though if you can find one.

I had one of the older white wireless keyboards, it died about a month out of warranty. It just stopped working. the green light came on. but it would not pair with any computer I tried it on. I picked up a wired new aluminum keyboard and love it, I was thinking I wouldn't like it, but that turned out to be wrong!

I just got a white BT apple keyboard and I love it, but I am used to the small throw keys on my MacBook so the larger throw (travel) keys on the keyboard make me have to remember to push harder to complete the key stroke or I don't get all the letters in the word. It requires a bit more effort than typing on my MacBook's pad, but I like being able to keep the laptop and it's heat off my lap (only reason I bought the keyboard). For that reason I might get the aluminum as a second keyboard to see if I like it better since it has the short throw style keys.

**If someone would be kind enough to tell me about the power management on the white keyboard........ How long can I realistically expect the batteries to last on the average if I am on the net 7 or so hours per day?
