WiFi help and edge question

My phone will connect to my router but will not get online keeps saying cant find server i have called iphone support we have tried everything hard reset restore power cycle network reset turn airport mode on and off the edge network works but sometimes the icon will not have a E in it and stay solid blue or white depending on the window open any hints?

Without the "E" you are on GPRS (GSM 2.0) not EDGE (GSM 2.5). As for the router, make sure it is serving up DHCP/NAT, does not require a password, and is in b, g, or b/g mode.

sry i didnt mention this but it works wifi 3 days ago then stoped also thanks bout the icon i evan bought a new router yester to see if that was the case

bump my phone worked for about 30 mins today on wifi then stoped again
