Burning multiple disc with FCX or Imovie etc.

I am trying to convert my brothers hdd cam footage onto dvd. I have imported all onto my imac and seem to be stuck. I have been able to start a burn but stated disc not big enough. I have purchased dl dvd to no avail. I know it is just something small I hope just let me know of anything that I am missing or can do to remedy. I have toast 8 as well and tried that way also. Please let me know of something that is a bit simpler if possible.Oh yea no menus are need just footage if possible...........Thanks MC:confused:

How long is your footage?

DVD DL capacity is really less than 3 hours. iMovie or iDVD should have warned you that it was unable to burn. Also you will need at least 8GBs of hard drive space on your boot drive to start the burn process. Good luck.
