I have a macbook pro hd i want to put in an old ibook, but the pins look different will they fit?

meaning the default hard drive has different connector pins than the macbook pro one. are there different connectors? Never heard of that before.

Well, the MBP has SATA hard drive, does the iBook have a SATA interface? If not, then no.

i don't know honestly i'm selling a hd from a macbook to a guy that has an ibook. he sent me a pic of the ibook hd and the pin connection is different and i want to know if it will work for him.

nope, it wont. iBooks have IDE harddrives.

It won't work. The MacBooks and MacBook Pros have SATA hard drive, PowerBooks and iBooks have PATA hard drives. Totally different connectors.

No.

MacBook Pro's are SATA. iBooks are IDE.
