View Full Version : iTouch 8G 1.1.4 January Update

So I ust updated an iPod TOuch 8G to 1.1.4, then tried to buy the software update. Well, the update is ssitting on my HDD (the January one) but I can't do anything with it. I double-click to load it into itunes and...nothing. Ther is a quick sync, but the new apps don't show up...

Hold down option, click restore, locate the update, then once that is done, rerun the 1.1.4 update.

try setting it on automatic sync after you restore it.

Some of you guys need to drop the Ipod Touch/Itouch thing, its extremely irritating and its not even needed on here.

Yeah wow. Like I said earlier, it is evolution of language that is occurring here, and you or anyone else can't stop it.

EDIT: I don't know why I get myself into pointless arguements.
as for correcting people, alright, il stop posting it, but I would rather keep my sig.

You are right, but its also a waste of time for me to stop telling people its inane. So long as you understand what they talk about, it shouldn't be such a big issue...that's the beauty of language!

well, itouch is an entirely different computer product, and not apple's either. but i guess as long as people are not calling the ipod touch 'pocketpc' or 'palmpilot' i'm all content : )

that sounds like you have a speech impediment, and your trying to say iPod...:D

its just iTouch that drives me crazy (and calling it names that it is not, IE:Pocketpc, palm pilot)
