why wont stuff load?

i just dont understand

my g5 is acting all weird.
some stuff wont load

like ical when i click. it bounces twice and then nothing.. same with sherloc and Poisioned

i can restart.. same thing.. whats going on?



im runnig 10.27

should have 10.3 tomorrow

Tried repairing disk permissions.....?

If that doesn't work, reset the PRAM (start up holding option-command-p-r before the first startup chime, wait for the third chime then let go.) Man, I should make a script that loads that line into my clipboard. :rolleyes:

um tried the reset thing.. didnt work

and i tried resetting permissions

you could also try fsck -y. file system check.

reboot and hold the 's' key, that takes you into single user mode. then type fsck -y and let it do it's thing. if it makes repairs, reboot again by typing reboot then continue with normal startup.

if there's no repairs, you can exit and continue with normal startup by typing either reboot or i think you can type bye as well. :p

other than that hopefully Panther will fix your weirdness. you're doing a clean install, right?
