I thought it was silly that the author explained why the base model new 2.4 GHz performed worse than the older top of the line 2.4 GHz model (1 MB less L2), but failed to mention the cooler fact--that the new 2.5 GHz high-end model outperforms the older, super-expensive 2.6 GHz (though this is also probably more because it has a LOT more L2 cache, rather than any architecture difference--the SSE4 crap isn't going to help INT/FP performance).
