I have a G4 Quicksilver, 733Mhz, 384MB RAM, 40GB HDD, SuperDrive, GeForce 2 MX w/ 32MB VRAM. Bought it new in 2001, been using it ever since.

I also have a first generation iMac G5, with a 1.8Ghz processor, 768MB RAM, 80GB HDD, SuperDrive, and a FX 5200 w/ 64MB VRAM. Bought it January 2005, stopped using it in May 2007, when it was replaced by a custom PC.

How much is each one worth?

Thanks in advance :)

Note: I'm not looking to sell them, just want to see what they're worth at the moment.

The first one around $300, the second one around $800. IMO.

I'd be extremely surprised if a 7 year old machine was worth $300.

You'd be surprised. Go look on eBay, macs tend to hold their value and resell well.

Mac2Sell (http://www.mac2sell.net/) gives good pricing info.

Very helpful, that Mac2Sell.net looks great. Here are the values:

That'll be like getting $700+ off my Mac Pro!

Getting it in April, hopefully :P

Glad to help. :)

I used Mac2Sell as a guide when selling my PowerBook G4 and Mac mini. With that and my ADC discount, I got my new MacBook Pro for under $500!

i've all but given up on selling on eBay. Once you pay their fees and then PayPal's, it's a small fortune. I've had a lot of luck selling old Apple products on Craigslist. I generally can get about the same amount for the computers, but no fees or bothering with shipping. :D
