Process called Canon iP6 using 100% resources

I am looking at my processes using iStat Pro and I would say the process began using up a ton of resources within the last few days. I tried to google it but came up with nothing.

Anyone heard of this process or what it is?

Do you have any Canon software installed? If so, you might want to delete it and download it again.
 
I was having the same issue. Check your Print Fax settings in your System Settings, then if you double click your printer, see if there are any print jobs trying to be processed. That was my issue.
