After updating to 10.5.2, whenever I boot with my external display and my MBP lid down, it will kernel panic and make me shut down by holding the power button down. That never happened before 10.5.2.

However, it will work if I boot with the MBP lid open. Then once I'm all booted up, I shut the MBP lid and it goes to sleep. And then I just wake the computer w/ keyboard and it works.

But that's such a PAIN in the a$$...............

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. I have ALL updates, I've also done a repair permissions too.

I have the same problem. I heard it is a problem with the Leopard Graphics update that came out. I haven't been able to solve the problem.
