View Full Version : Can I use .pfm or .pfb fonts on os x?

I got a font from a friend that i need to use for a school project. In the folder there is a .afm .inf .pfb and .pfm files. I cant get any to load. Anything I can do to get it to work?

You might try to convert the font to a dFont or OpenType or TTF using a number of utilities.
I never heard of .pmf files but a program called pfaedit for X11 might work...

Doing a search on http://filext.com/ says that your files you got are adobe font files (postscript level 1...very old) I wouldn't know how to add them to OS X except to convert them to something else.
