Mac Recognizes iPod as a Disk

Hey guys, new to the forum and somewhat new to mac.

I recently tried to "backup" something on my iPod using Disk Utility. Anyway, now when the iPod is attached to the Mac, the icon is of a Disk (such as a bootable CD) and not of the iPod. The iPod still plays and works in itunes, but I want to change it back to normal. Any help is appreciated.

Details: Macbook running Tiger, 5gen 30gb iPod.

Is enable disk mode clicked? If so, unclick it...

Yes, it is in disk mode. But it was before I did anything with Disk Utility.

Ps. It's also a Windows formatted iPod.
