For the home user, some ISPs are offering 15mbps over your phone line. Take that, Comcast! I thought my 6mbps DSL was overkill -- I just found out the same vendor now offers more than twice the speed (for twice the price, of course). No phone service required, and an option for VOIP for $29 more per month.
On the flip side, my building just signed a contract for Verizon Fiber Optic service as well. It's even faster (upwards towards 50/20 up/down), and cheaper though I've never been one to adopt technology early. Plus, they don't let you run a web server.
Which would you choose? Anyone with Verizon FIOS? Your opinion?
