Trying to install aux connectors for the graphics card. but it seems almost impossible with the fan in the way, I can't even get near them.

Yeah, it's a pain isn't it. Find someone with small fingers... or carefully use some needlenose pliers.
God must have been listening to my cries: I blindly lowered the cables and it slipped in!! 😀
