Transferring files notebook to a new hard drive

I have a PowerBook G4 running Tiger 10.4.11 whose hard drive is almost full and I want to replace it with a hard drive twice the size.
Using Migration Assistant on the G4 what tool/hardware do I need so I can Migrate my current hard drive to the new one?

use SuperDuper! or Carcon Copy Cloner to clone the whole hard drive to an external hard drive then use migration assistant to move it back to the new hard drive. or you can use Disk Utility's restore feature to restore the clone to the new hard drive
