I've been trying to track down a reasonably priced 4gig iphone, and it seems next to impossible. People apparently want hundreds of dollars if they've unlocked it, but that's so easy now it's absurd. Anyone have ideas?

The 4Gbs are very rare nowadays, try on eBay or Craigslists.

yup. only thing is that they are available in the northeast region only. And they also require a 2 year contract on the spot instead of activation via itunes. So if you are planning to unlock it, then tough luck.
If anyone can track down one of these $199 4gig iphones please let me know, maybe we could work something out...
