This should be an interesting thread. Sorry if it's been posted before.
Just take a photo of the view outside your window. Simple as that. If you have a portable, take a photo of your surroundings.
This should be interesting to see the surroundings of fellow MR users.
Also, it'd be nice to tell us where you are.
I'd post a photo, but it's nighttime right now so you can't see anything and I can't find my camera.

Yeah, it would have been better to start this thread during the daytime.;)

LOL in the Catskills all day we kept getting whiteouts so the view from our window was like a blank sheet of paper. I couldn't even see there was a road out there, never mind across the road. And yet we didn't get more than two or three inches of extra snow out of it. Just intermittent, intense snow showers.
Oh well. Next week I'll post pix of a FLOOD since temps will rise into the 40s.

I don't have any windows in my room, which is nice because I can pretty much make up what time of day it is. If I want to sleep at 3pm, then I turn off the lights and shut the door and its nighttime.

i absolutely hate snow, it terrifies me. i woke up and saw that and called out of work. it cleared up around 2pm and by 3 the roads were clear so i went out, almost every small business was closed, only the 24 hours donut shops and gas stations were open pretty much. we only had like 6-8" but it was more than we had all year and everyone panicked i guess. i really hope we're done for the year, today was nearly 60 degrees before it started raining.

Here's a few window shots from when I was in Japan a while ago.
I was beginning to think to myself "Hey, Omaha doesn't look like that, let alone have Asians there".
Either move out so far from civilizaiton that all you have for transportation are horse carriages or something in between like Colorado or some parts of Europe where it's still untainted by megacorps filthy claws of commercialism.

It was a low light iPhone camera photo, but this is what I see when I look out my window when at home on my MBP.

are you in hawaii?
No...
Maui. :p
You guys with open fields are living on the last vestiges of the frontier life. I get a headache looking outside and seeing all those cookie-cutter houses and cars and droned people walking their dogs. Argh!
Actually, I love city and suburb (sp?) like areas. Where I live is boring. Nothing to do......

Haha I technically live about 10 minutes north of Omaha... but I still consider it Omaha. I'm not asian either, but I do speak Japanese. :]

This is the view from my office window. It's just a little community park, but it beats looking at another house.
