I have pretty nice collection of iPods and I display them on some really nifty stands. If you have a bunch of iPods you would like to display or even if you want to display your one and only. These stands are sweeeeeeeet. These stands fit all of the iPods and the iPhone perfect except for the 1G and 2G oldddd iPods...they are too thick and lack a dock connector! The skinny iPods fit perfectly in the slot of the iPod stand. As for the regular iPods and iPod minis, the tips of the stands fit perfectly into the dock connector. See all the pics below.

Yes you can because of the curvature of the iPhone. However, it isnt that sturdy.

These are very cool. Do you make these yourself? I'm interested, and going to go count how many I need. Can you take a pic of an iPod on one of these while connected to the cable? Or are these just for displaying them? I'm curious, but this isn't a deal breaker for me. :)

These are for display only. For most of the iPods, the support for the iPod on the stand comes from the dock connector. Check out the pics and description.

No there isnt any room to connect the sync cable. The stand actually uses the dock connector to support the iPhone. It's really just for a nice display of your iPod (or iPhone) :)

For those of you who asked about syncing/charging ipods while on these stands, I took a photo for you to see how I addressed this, and was able to do both using them. I used a two sided sticky tape to secure the bottom of the stand to my desk (cut to size), and then set the iPod on it's side in order to charge/sync. I tested this method with all my iPods, which include what you see in the photo, as well as the 3g Nano. Sorry for the crappy webcam photo. ;) As you can see, turning the iPod on it's side and setting it on the stand makes this work fine. I advise securing the stand as I did to keep it from sliding about. Also, you notice this allows me to sync and charge without having to remove the iPods from their cases.

Just thought I'd show how this can be done for those considering purchasing. :)
