I recently received a used Toshiba e750 Pocket PC. I bought a 1 GB SD card to expand its memory. However, after using it only once or twice, files and even entire folders started being unexpectedly erased. At one point, when I placed the card in the PDA, it said the card was unreadable and asked me if I wanted to format it. Seeing no choice, I said yes. A short while later, my computer stopped recognizing the card. I placed the card in the reader, but the computer didn't appear to recognize it at all. When I tried to put it in the PDA, it froze and would not respond until I removed the card.
Lately, I've been using another SD card to ferry files between PDA and computer (the cradle connection with my computer is also behaving strangely, but I'll save that for another thread) without any problems. I haven't kept the SD card in the PDA for longer than it takes to copy the files, though, because I don't want the same thing to happen to it. I'm wondering whether this is a problem with the card or the PDA. What's wrong, and is there any way to fix it?
