Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any apps (web-apps or installer apps) that allow you to save Youtube videos and watch them even when you're not in a WiFi hotspot?

Or do you have to go the long way around by ripping it off your computer, converting it into mp4 file, then sync to iPod?

I'm hardly ever in WiFi spots so it would be nice if I could download like 10 youtube videos to watch later on subway or smth....

There aren't any apps that I'm aware of, and have looked for youtube options as well.

The long route is the only way I believe.

Download videos in .mp4 format so you can transfer them straight to your ipod/touch/phone

A host of YouTube Video downloaders you can get from a search on Google, pick out one which is able to save YouTube videos as MP4 or H264 format.

Or if you have video download tool at hand, then you just need to find a video converter to export videos as iPod friendly format.
