Ever since I updated to Installer 3.01, I cannot download anything. It would start to install and then crash. What should I do? I need help ASAP.
I posted on a ton of places about it, but no one has an answer =/

Upon pressing Download:
Press Clear Queue
Or if it says as well Remove from Queue, do that too.
Then press Download
Then Install
and then it should work.

That isn't the problem. I know how that works, and I do not get a download failed message anyway. Installer crashes when I download anything.

hmmmm....maybe restore and re-jailbreak?
it sounds like Installer corrupted on arrival (the COA Bug)

AHH, i would do anything not to re-jailbreak.
Do you think i could reinstall Installer? Would that delete any apps and stuff I have?

Windows Vista
EDIT: I went to reinstall Installer, and it says I don't have enough space. So the problem is I need to install BossTool to move my apps so I have space again. But I can't install anything through Installer, how would I go about installing BossTool without Installer?

Is BSD Subsystem still installed? if not re-install that and see how it goes. that was what was wrong with mine, so I found out after re-JB'ing.

UGHH
OK so I can update packages, but not download new ones. I am so puzzled. I deleted a few sources too, and I thought that would work, but no luck.
ALTHOUGH, I just downloaded a BSD Subsystem fix...that worked fine. So why wont anything else work?

I recommend uninstalling BSD Subsystem Fix, as I have left mine untouched. And i am on 1.1.4. Uninstall that and try again. I really am trying to help you.

I really appreciate your help. I feel like we are making progress.
I just downloaded Drummer and it worked fine! Maybe this is a sign of things to come. I just deleted a bunch of jiggy stuff that i never use, and then just downloaded Drummer, and it worked!
BUT, it crashes when I tried to install Apache PHP web server.
So I am not sure what that means. Does it mean that I am down to only a few MB left for apps to install on my iPod? and the Drummer app took up what was left after I made room, which is why I can't download anything else now?

That is very likely the reason. Not enough space left.
There is a method to swap the Jailbreak to the 7GB partition. I don't know it.
Cheers!

Alright I was able to finally SSH to my iPod. How do I use BossTool without installing it through Installer?
I need to move my apps and all so I can have free space.

try reinstalling installer by going into installer and going to uninstall -installer -reinstall.
if there isnt enough room, delete some apps or sources

I somehow was able to install BossTool randomly today. So I got it to work. This topic can be closed.
