iPod touch JB 1.1.4 Question

Since the SDK, is likely to be a beta, I have decided to jailbreak my iPod touch.

Here are my questions:


I currently run a 1.1.4 touch with the software upgrade. If I decide to go back to a unhacked iPod, can I get my apps back?
Does jailbreaking delete all of your files?

yes, itunes lets you back up your music to DVD's or cd's

what ipod do you have? 8, 16, or 32 G?

if its 8,(16, and 32 may be supported) Ziphone

i specifically want to back up the music on my ipod just so i can easily copy them and delete after jailbreaking. i have a 8 gb ipod touch. does anyone know the answer to my first question about the software upgrade?

you wont need it, it is on the instaler for you to install, there is no way to KEEP the music on your ipod, just have to sync...
