I just purchased and received this (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?fnode=home/specialdeals/mac&nplm=FB062LL/B) model.

By the way. My first personal/home mac. I'm very happy so far.

It is the correct nominal specification, however Kingston does not guarantee the compatibility of their ValueRAM series with Macs. The Kingston RAM that Kingston recommends is KTA-MB667K2/4G

Crucial has a neat little app that auto-detects the RAM your system needs. Check it out www.crucial.com

That ram will work but it is currently out of stock. This is the ram I have and works great.
