My Mac is connected to a TV. Much of the time I am not using a keyboard and can't use Expose. Is there any quick way to get to the desktop with a mouse?

Hot corners

System Preferences - Expose & Spaces - Expose

Then set one of the corners to Desktop

or System Preferences - Keyboard and Mouse - Mouse

Then set one of the buttons to Expose - Desktop (depends on whay mousr you have)

Yes, it's called hot corners. (EDIT: see xUKHCx's post) You can set the corners of the screen to a variety of actions, including the three Exposé actions. Then you flick the mouse to the screen corner and it initiates the Exposé action. So I have mine set something like UL = all windows, LL and LR = application's windows, and UR = desktop. 🙂 It's the only way to use Exposé, my friend. Once you try it, you'll be addicted. 😀

If your mouse has extra buttons (like my MX Revolution), you can set a button to trigger Expose - Desktop.
