I have 10 dollars in my itunes account from an itunes card. I want to buy the $20 applications for my iPod touch. If I purchase this, will it use the money from my iTunes credit, and then charge the remaining amount to my credit card? Or will it charge it entirely to my credit card?

Why don't you buy a $10 gift certificate code from the credit card, then send it to yourself. Then you'll have $20 😀

The money not covered by your iTunes credit will be charged to the card tied to your iTunes account😉
