Hi all,

I'm just wondering if it's possible to disable the spaces slide animation in OS X 10.5. I previously used VirtueDesktop under OS X 10.4 and although it was beta quality software you could disable the animation when switching virtual desktops.

I'm sure other power users will be very interested in disabling the animation. I would much rather just have the window instantly change from one desktop to another.

Cheers.

I don't know of way however I am a power user and I don't agree with you, not everybody wants a boring experience while working on their computer, I welcome the animation, we are not working in Windows.

Sometimes I watch just the animation when I'm bored. :D

I suppose the OP may want to turn off the animations for the Dock, Stacks and Expose too? :p
