A Amdahl macrumors 65816 Mar 6, 2008 #2 It will auto start when you connect a web cam. Maybe you can turn that off in iChat preferences and it will stop.

Click to expand... Unless my iSight is turning itself on (which I can't see that it is) I doubt it. I have no other web cams.

M mmccaskill macrumors 6502 Original poster Mar 7, 2008 #5 Well I erased & reinstalled 10.5. Then downloaded and ran 10.5.2 combo update, then graphics combo update. Then Software Update. We will see if this makes a difference.
