Just trying to figure out how long I should let this pinwheel go for. It's been about 10 minutes or so.

Before booting up for the 1st time I installed both my terabyte drives and 2x2 gigs of ram. Wondering if maybe those are conflicting with the initial set up sequence.

You didn't boot it before installing new hardware? Are you sure you didn't wang something or it was DOA?

Yup, remove those drives and do some recon. first.... Before adding additional hardware it is a good point of reference to make sure that your machine is functional first.

Yep.

First thing to do on a new machine before you add new hardware is make sure the thing works as advertised, as is... first.

Typically, it's also a good idea to add things one at a time after that, as well... so that if something does get fubar'd... you have a pretty darn good idea what did it!

Good luck! :apple:
