why does my ipod touch always do this?

So I was about to go to bed and watch a movie on my ipod touch and I click videos and it says "there are no videos" same with my music folder "no music" why would it just randomly delete all my media that pisses me off so bad. Ive restored it alot of times before and put it in recovery mode too. Also 1 quick question i downloaded a song off itunes on my ipod touch but then i had to restore my ipod, how do I get that song back that I paid For? Thanks

You may have to call Apple or e-mail them to get your song if you didn't get it transferred back to iTunes.

If you have restored your phone and are still losing all of your info, I would take it into the Apple Store and let one of the Geniuses take a look.
