View Full Version : So I final Jailbroke with iNdependence, but now what?

So after hear I would have to wait another 4 months for 2.0, I finally jail broke using iNdependence, but how do I find any apps? I installed ssh, and I have looked for installer.app, but the only version I can find for download is for firmware 1.0, and I am at 1.1.4 . Any help would be awesome!! Thanks.
Four more months? but god the sdk presentation looked awesome. SPORE?!?!

i jailbroke my iphone with ijailbreak 2 days ago and it is all 1 step just go to http://ijailbreak.com/ and click on the little Download iJailBreak for Desktops Now! and u just plug ur phone in and it guids you from there:D

have a look at www.hackthatphone.com at the "old" depreciated 1.1.4 tutorial "true" unlock for mac as it shows how to get installer on the iPhone after using independence to jailbreak.

Basically all you do is download installer.app from its site and SSH it onto the phone (install SSH using Independence) then set file permissions using terminal and it will all work!

There are clear step by step instructions on hackthatphone.com so just follow them! The installer instructions are on page 2 but if your not sure about how to install SSH and then use fugu to transfer files onto the iPhone then look at ONLY that part on page 1!
