iCal unable to open

I can't seem to open my iCal. I click on it and the triangle appears under it and it stops bouncing...but no calendar window appears. Any ideas what I can try doing? (besides disk utility)

Its iCal 2 on a computer running 10.4.11.

Nope :( It just has the triangle appear under the iCal icon in the dock. Also, if you right click on the icon, it gives you the option to Hide and Force Quit. iCal does appear in the Force Quit menu under the apple as well.
