anyone else with a touch that has a loose headphone jack? when i plug in speakers or headphones, the music periodically fades in and out. at first i thought it was my speakers' problem, but after, when i checked my headphone jack and wiggled it, i discovered it was loose. will apple fix this under warranty?

I have a feeling it's because you haven't plugged them in properly. You shouldn't be able to see the metal part of the plug if you have plugged your speakers in correctly. I can hang my iPod touch when my headphone cable is plugged in.

I had the same problem. I took it to an apple store and after about a week, I was informed that I could pick up a new ipod under the warranty.

I think you've answered your own question. If the "...whole jack wiggles from side to side." then it's broken. Take/send it back to where you got it for warranty replacement.
