I think the article should speak for itself. Anyone else here think that war profiteering is disgusting?

Have they captured Saddam - NO
Has it been a victory over terrorism - NO
Do the Iraqi people control their own destiny - NO
Is the World a safer place - NO
Has this War transfered taxpayers money into the hands of Bush, his cronies and their political contributors - YES
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

My favorite quote is "We do not expect or receive political favors or government contracts as a result of those contributions."
Then why all the contributions and why all the favorable treatment?
I think if I went to the store and said I would like to contribute some money to their store effort they would have no problem giving me free candy.
Then there are all the stories of how employees are given payoffs to look the other way when the money is stolen. How is this any different?
