Itunes Problem

Hi all.

First post, wanted to ask a question.

When I rip music from cd's to itunes, or try to burn from my music library, I often get a "beat like" popping noise in the background, almost like hitting a broom against metal? This isn't on all cd's or even all songs on a single cd.

Do I need to set the read/write times lower, or is there anything else I can do?

BTW, have twin-867 MDD with combo drive.

I've had that problem ripping, try using the error correction. That's what I used to fix my problem.
