I'm looking for some information on the iPod connectivity dock. I'm trying to output a digital audio output to my home theater AV receiver so that my iPod music is not outputed through an analog output.
I currently have a Harmon Kardon AVR 247 and AVR 146. I'm looking to buy the "Bridge" for iPod connectivity to the receivers.

So does anyone know how if this product will let me output a digital output to my system from the iPod? And is the iPod's USB connection interface a digital or an analog?
