hey
i reinstaled mac os x on my penryn macbook pro..
to save space i deleted printer drivers and languages.
i was stupid and thought that its be better to download my printer driver from the website for a newer driver.
i went ot Hp's website, and all it says is...
"Driver included in OS X 10.5"

... -.-

so i went to the restore cd and clicked bundled application and try to reinstall the printer driver, just the HP one, except the tick box wont let me click it!the damn thing just stays untick as if id already have it installed....which i dont....
what can i do?/what am i doing wrong?

thanks guys...this is like the 3372394372498th forum starts this week...swtching from windows is quite confusing.
thanks

Connect the printer, try to print something. It will probably say "Drivers not available, would you like to have Software Update download and install them now?" Click yes, wait, print.

the printer's over a network 🙁

ok
i connected the printer via usb
added the printer, chose a random driver....and it tries to print
but printer didnt do anything...

GOT A NEW SYMPTOM

i managed to DL the drivers from Apple
and now, when i connect the printer through USB, Apple automaticaly selects HP All-in-One 4......BUT this driver is not in the list of drivers!!WTF
so i cant choose it when adding through wi-fi.
