Hey friends,

I convinced my mom to get a MacBook, but now her tech people at work are telling her she needs Windows to open the WordPerfect files that she uses on her PC at work. I refuse to believe this, is it true? Is there a way to open and work with WordPerfect files on a mac? (P.S. I hope this doesn't involve Sheepshaver and Classic...)

Thanks 🙂

Try NeoOffice - on the odd occasion we get sent WordPerfect files at work, that's the solution I use. I don't know how good it is with complex layouts (we don't see a lot of WP files), but it's worked when I've needed it to.

Oh, and the tech people where she works need to learn why businesses with any sense use industry standard software (meaning, in this case, MS Office). 😉
