Files from 10.4 laptop to 10.5 desktop

OK, so it's really easy to take file from my mac pro (10.5) and put them on my macbook (10.4) but how do i got the other way? i often find things on the interweb (do most browsing on the lappy) that i'd like to throw onto the desktop with out having to actually go down into my studio.....

do i have to setup a shared folder on the MP or something?

Yeah you should just network them together. Make sure you enable file sharing in the sharing pane of system preferences...and you should be golden.
