setting icons help

why is it when I choose say an icon for the slider and then get out of the menu the phone resets itself but then the icon I have chosen is not set and the old icon is still there. Any help is appreciated.

im not sure what your wanting done. You want to move a icon on your main screen? If you have the right version, you can hold your finger on a icon and everything will start wiggling, when that happens, you can drag your icons any were and rearrange it. once you have them where you want it, click the home button. thats it!

He's trying to use customize to change the slider to unlock/answer. Customize is really on and off for most things... I haven't used it for a while since upgrading to 1.1.4.
