lets say, hypothetically... if i were to download the trial version of aperture 2, but enter a serial number that would work on the full version, would that enable me to have full access to it after thirty days?

hypothetically, if you were to download the trial version and decide you want to buy the full version, all you would have to do is enter in the full version's activation key.

yes it would work. because the trial version of aperture 2 is a full version with all the features. just a 30 day limit. so the answer is yes

Any other apps than Aperture or Photoshop

Does anyone have a suggestion for a photo editing app not quite as simple as iPhoto but not as complicated as Aperture? Or can Aperture be used in a simple fashion as well? I haven't had any experience with it.
