I recently purchased a MacBook (Early 2008). I'm thinking about running Boot Camp with WinXP cause that will then allow me to get rid of my windows laptop.

When I started the Boot Camp Assistance and it restarted I was presented with an option about how I want to format my drive.

NTFS
NTFS(Quick)
FAT
FAT (Quick)
Leave current drive

Which option is best? I know that if I leave it at FAT, I'll beable to access the windows partition in OSX? But isn't NTFS a better format for Windows?

I'm not too sure what to choose so any opinion or facts about each would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

FAT has problems with file sized approaching and exceding 4GB, but for most applications, that isn't a big deal. Also, NTFS is a journaled file system, but again, not a big deal. I'd go with FAT, just to have the flexability of getting stuff off of my Windows partition whenever I needed it.
