I recently bought "Mac OS X Leopard The Missing Manual" by David Pogue. The book covers everything from starting up and logging off to some moderate hacking of the operating system. I've really enjoyed the authors style and I find the book to be an excellent resource.

I've never gotten an OS X book. Never needed one. But the aforementioned "Missing Manual" by Pogue is always highly recommend it, as always.
