Transfered all my songs and data from MBP and MBA is the sole syncing notebook.

Yes I do. Works well, except that the fans go into a tizzy when syncing a lot of music.

I have all my music stored on the laptop. Videos, only the latest TV show episode is stored on the laptop, others are stored in the external hard drive.

yes...i have a USB powered 250 hd. I sync with the MBA for iCal and iTunes. like a glove!

No, I sync my iPhone with my 17" MBP and will continue to do so. I decided I didn't want to put a lot of extra stress on the MBA's lone USB port. Actually, I haven't yet installed iTunes on the MBA anyway -- a couple of days ago I finally did buy a 160 GB G-Technology Mini G-Drive for the MBA, so am thinking that I'll put my iTunes library on that.

this is a weird thread.
seeing how I LOVE weird threads, I will come back and post once I synced my iPhone with my macbook air. stay tuned! :)
