is this possible? when i go to options my windows "drive" is always under the do not back up list....

It's not possible.
TimeMachine requires the change notifications from HFS+ and must be running at the time to capture them. Windows cannot be installed on an HFS+ format partition and when Windows is booted and changing files TimeMachine (which is part of OSX) is not running. If you are using Windows you must use Windows backup mechanisms.

Not yet. I also back up the really important data from this partition another way so I wouldn't be too mad if it didn't work. Have you heard of anyone having problems with restoring?

Nope, but wanted to know if its reliable. I might try when I have some down time for kicks 🙂
If you try it, post your results back in this forum. I'd definitely like to know if a restore does or does not work for you.
